Ok, the short version:

Single lady, mid-twenties, Brisbane (Australia)-based, social worker, Bollywood dancer, 'over shopper', daughter, bossy big sister, friend.

What you get when you read this blog?

A chronicle of the silly things I catch myself doing that I think others will either identify with, or enjoy the stupidity of. You know, like my OTT-shopping, my dancing in the street, my issues around being serenaded by guitar or how disturbingly like my father I am (did I mention that during the swine flu scare, he stockpiled food and bought a generator? Because he did).

You will also get to share some of my passions and irritations. While I try not to get too political or 'social-worky' on this blog it certainly creeps in from time to time. I can't help it, I react strongly to certain things and while I try to keep this blog reasonably upbeat, sometimes I need to vent my spleen.

Ultimately this blog is just me, perhaps not every inch of me, but me nonetheless. Hence, it is Just Anne.

Is this whole concept just a tad self-important and over-indulgent? Yeah, a little. Okay, a lot. So why? Well, being able to share parts of my story with the world is a privilege, and who am I to spit on that? Also it really kinda fun to look back at, and giggle or cringe at myself. So I hope you can share in some, if not all, of the giggles.
